In late December, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council released the 2025 Tariff Adjustment Plan for China, which adjusts the import tariff rates and tariff items for certain goods, effective at the start of 2025. While China is imposing tariffs on 8960 items, the country will continue to not levy any tariffs on imported baby diapers and adult diapers. Meanwhile, tariffs for sanitary pads and tampons will remain at 2%.
